About Us

We are a small, family-oriented congregation in the Presbyterian Church (USA) tradition, located in the agricultural community of Mikesville, Florida, south of Lake City. Our congregation is multigenerational, and many of our families have worshipped together for decades — some for generations.

Life here moves at a quieter pace, and we think that is a gift. We take time to know one another, to care for one another, and to grow together in faith. Sunday mornings are unhurried and centered on worship, and the bonds formed here extend well beyond the church walls into the fields, farms, and families of our community.

In 2026, we are joyfully celebrating our 150th anniversary — a milestone that connects us to the founding families who journeyed from South Carolina to build a community and a church in the wilds of north Florida. Their story is our story, and we carry it forward with both pride and humility.

We are not a perfect church — but we are a people who love God, love our neighbors, and are genuinely glad when someone new walks through our doors.
